Pan Am Games Ticket Sales Underway

(ATR) Tickets for the 2007 Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro are now on sale.

Nearly two million tickets are available for sale at www.ingressosrio2007.com.br.

Prices for tickets range from $5 to $60 and up to $125 for the Opening Ceremonies.

Ticketing agent Ticketronic created the website handling sales and designed the site to handle 8,000 simultaneous sales in Spanish, Portuguese, and English.

While nine national Olympic committees in South America have approved on-line ticket sales, ticket-buyers in the USA, Canada, and Mexico will have to go directly to their NOC for pre-games sales.

The Pan American Games take place July 15 to 29.
