Colombian National Police patrolman Eleazar Esmith Vargas Ladino, who had been kidnapped last Sunday, April 10 in the municipality of Dagua (Valle del Cauca), regained his freedom this Saturday afternoon, after two weeks of captivity at the hands of FARC dissidents.
According to the commander of the Metropolitan Police of Cali, General Juan Carlos León, the release took place in the rural area of the municipality and the staff of the International Committee of the Red Cross were present there.
