Myanmar’s junta holds parade to celebrate Independence day

NAYPYITAW, MYANMAR – Myanmar’s junta holds a parade by members of the military and civil servants to celebrate the country’s 75th Independence Day. Junta chief Senior General Min Aung Hlaing is expected to inspect the parade and deliver a speech. Myanmar hasn’t held a parade on its Independence Day since 2016.
